And … the time came to work for a municipality. Making my community proud and bringing happiness to Canmore residents was an absolute game changer! Designed, planned, marketed and delivered all of the Town of Canmore’s community events from New Year’s Eve on the Pond to Winter Carnival and the Canada Day Parade to other smaller events. Attendance varied from 1,000 – 15,000 people.

Another awesome, local organization that needed to set up a marketing department, processes, and work on a yearly strategy. Joined the Cornerstone team as their first in-house Marketing Manager. Two new websites later, optimized channels and a brand refresh I am still working for them on a contract basis.

Mexico Tourism Board in Vancouver
What a fun ride! The Mexico Tourism Board promotes Mexico as a tourism destination internationally. A creative and high-profile job, I oversaw all Public Relations strategies and initiatives in Western Canada.

Pursuit Collection
A huge investment of time, energy and knowledge that I am super proud of! I started Pursuit Collection’s communications department and community relations initiatives from the ground up. Not only did I secured coverage through The Bachelor and Discovery Channel but also achieved a one-year kick-start cycle securing significant budget for continued operations of the communications department.
Managed a team of two coordinators and five contractors. Our team fulfilled all traditional and digital marketing and communications needs including strategic communication planning for: three iconic attractions and a brand-new attraction in the Rocky Mountains, three hotels, a packaged vacations department, a sightseeing department, a transportation department, three retail locations and a global sales department.
